About the event

This once-in-a-lifetime trek will take you from the unspoilt tribal highlands of the Shan Hills to Lake Inle, one of Burma’s most memorable sights. You’ll explore so many different landscapes from jungle to farmland to quiet villages where oxen pull wooden ploughs.

Your trip ends with Bagan’s unforgettable plain of ancient temples, and Yangon’s incredible Shwedagon Pagoda – this is a challenge not to be missed! What’s more, every penny raised will help us to achieve our vision of a world free from preventable cancer.

Book your place on the Burma Hill Tribe Trek today. You’ll be asked to pay the non-refundable registration fee of £299. The minimum sponsorship target for this event is £3,950, which allows us to cover the cost of your challenge while raising as much money as possible for our vital cancer prevention research.

You can choose the dates that are most suitable for you in the event calendar. We recommend signing up at least 9–12 months ahead of the trip to ensure enough time for fitness training and fundraising.
