Take on the Thames Path Challenge and push yourself in uniquely beautiful scenery that's steeped in history, and a superb backdrop for a festival of riverside challenge events. It's 100km from Putney Bridge to Henley alongside Britain’s greatest river – most of the 4,000 challengers will walk at their own pace, many will jog parts, and some will run the whole course. All will have a special reason to push themselves.

You can join as an individual or as a team, and there are half- and quarter-distance options, which end in Runnymede and Hampton Court. However you attempt it, this challenge will test your stamina and determination, and – with full support all the way – you'll be rewarded with an amazing sense of achievement.

When: Saturday 9–Sunday 10 September 2017
Where: Putney Bridge to Henley, Runnymede or Hampton Court
Minimum sponsorship: £395 (100km), £275 (50km) or £150 (25km)
Registration fee: £70 (100km), £50 (50km) or £40 (25km)
