Prof Alan Jackson

Prof Jackson is chair of World Cancer Research Fund’s Continuous Update Project (CUP) panel.

The CUP panel features independent experts in a variety of disciplines and provides an impartial analysis and interpretation of the evidence prepared by a research team at Imperial College London.

It’s a huge undertaking – at present, over 100 scientists from 17 countries around the world are involved in the CUP.

I’ve also spoken at or chaired a number of conferences on behalf of World Cancer Research Fund International. My sense is that the charity is on the threshold of playing a major, if not dominant, role globally in helping to inform the way in which people live their lives.
