This year we celebrate a major milestone – we are 25 years old. For two and a half decades, we have funded groundbreaking scientific research from around the world on cancer prevention.

Scientific breakthroughs

Over the years we have made significant scientific breakthroughs in establishing the link between diet, physical activity, weight and cancer.

Our cancer prevention recommendations provide easy to use advice that has been translated from our most authoritative scientific research to help people reduce their cancer risk.

Our research findings have identified that by following our ten recommendations 80,000 cancer cases in the UK could be prevented annually, showing that we are not powerless against cancer.

Help us prevent cancer

We are not government funded and rely on generous donations from the public to continue funding this critical research.

If you are a trustee or have links to a charitable trust or foundation, you can support us by making a significant donation to help reduce the number of people who develop preventable cancer.

Your valued donation will help us to fund cancer prevention studies of the highest international quality and help people to a healthier, cancer free future.

We understand that it is important to you that your support brings the maximum impact and with this in mind we would love for you to become our long-term supporters. In return you will receive:

  • Regular updates on our work, so you can see the impact of your support
  • Invitations to exclusive events, lab tours and receptions
  • Meetings with some of our world leading scientists, senior staff and Trustees
  • Public thanks on our website, in annual reports, newsletters and other key communications
